GOREDBULL.COM · PRIVACY & DATA

Your camera is private. Know what else is saved.

Camera frames are processed on your device. Numeric workout data and account records have different purposes and retention rules. Here is what the app actually shares.

Camera images and audio

Gored Bull requests camera access when you start a workout. It runs pose detection on your device. Camera images, video and audio are not uploaded. Camera capture stops when you end the workout or the app is interrupted.

Account and progress

You can count without joining the community. Without an account, saved progress lives in this browser and can be lost if its storage is cleared. If you join using an X handle, account totals are saved on the server and a secure account cookie can reconnect your existing account. Detailed set summaries also live in your browser. Your recovery code lets you reconnect to your account. Keep it private.

If you join through an invitation, the account records that referrer; otherwise it records Direct signup. An optional X handle and public verification post connect your community identity. They do not verify physical workout performance.

Numeric evidence and bug reports

The app sends numeric motion measurements and diagnostic summaries to help investigate counting problems. These are separate from the optional basic-usage setting. Numeric workout evidence is retained for a target period of 14 days. Verified users can submit a bug report tied to available account and workout context.

Security observations have a 30-day target retention. Cleanup runs through collection and reporting activity; it is not a guarantee of deletion at an exact hour. Bug-report attachments can remain until account deletion, and minimal abuse-prevention records may remain afterward.

Optional basic usage

Basic usage helps us understand visits, camera starts, successful tracking and completed workouts. It uses a random browser identifier and broad categories such as search, invitation or direct entry. Full referrer URLs, search queries and page-query strings are not included in usage events. Activity may be linked to your account when it reconnects.

Raw usage expires after 30 days during collection or report retrieval; aggregate daily totals remain. Turn sharing off in Settings → Privacy or with the control at the bottom of these guides. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable basic usage sharing.

Public visibility and deletion

Leaderboard participation is optional. If you opt in, your handle, verification status and exercise statistics can be public. Hiding your listing does not delete your private account. Existing private backups and copies on other devices may retain data after account deletion. Account controls include recovery, data export and deletion; clearing saved summaries only removes local detailed history.

Do not put passwords, recovery codes, financial details or other sensitive information in a bug report. Reports are treated as untrusted data. The app’s access and moderation controls may restrict reporting when suspicious activity is detected.
